At McWilliams & Elliott, we believe in bettering our community through more than legal services and legal advice – we believe in the importance of pursuing corporate philanthropic endeavours.
As such we commit ourselves to regularly assisting organisations throughout our friendly city of Gqeberha that are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate. The recipients of our corporate philanthropic endeavours have our full support and appreciation for the worthy causes they are fighting.

A21 proudly fights to “abolish slavery everywhere, forever”. The organisation has been in place since 2008 to fight for the freedom of men, women and children against any form of slavery or acts against humanity
Aurora Special Care Centre works to improve the quality of life for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. From humble beginnings in 1978, Aurora has grown to care for 76 children and 14 adults under the supervision of nearly 100 staff members.
The Childhood Cancer Foundation provides comprehensive countrywide support to children in South Africa who are living with cancer or other life-threatening blood disorders.
The Eastern Province Child and Youth Care Centre aims to provide a safe, and trauma-free environment for children to develop and grow. The Centre also provides support to the families through therapy and skills training.
The House of Resurrection Haven provides a secure and sustainable home to children who are living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Since 2010, the House of Resurrection Children’s Home has been providing full-care to children in need.
The Missionvale Care Centre is a non-profit organisation operating in Missionvale, Gqeberha. Founded by Sister Ethel Normoyle in 1988, the centre has grown to care for the poor with particular emphasis on those living with HIV/AIDS.
We had the honour of distributing gifts to the children in the paediatric ward at Dora Nginza Hospital on Mandela Day. Witnessing the children’s priceless smiles as they unwrapped their carefully selected gifts brought moments of joy and comfort. The team departed with hearts full of warmth, emphasising the transformative power of kindness.
